When people stumble and fall, they often suffer from neurological disorders and partial muscular paralysis – better known as foot drop weakness (peroneal paresis).
In the case of paresis, electrical nerve/muscle stimulation is an effective solution. Our therapy devices for paresis stimulation (EPS) are easy to use and serve as valuable therapy support for at home.
So that you can walk well and safely again.
What is peroneal palsy?
The term "peroneal paresis" (peroneal paralysis) means foot drop weakness and refers to nerve damage or partial paralysis of a foot lifting muscle. This partial paralysis, which experts refer to as "incomplete paresis" (also known as "incomplete paresis"), can also affect other muscle groups, for example in the arms, hands or face (facial paralysis).
What is EPS muscle therapy?
"EPS" stands for Electrical Paresis Stimulation and is a painless and side-effect-free muscle therapy with swell current. In this process, the exponential current impulses generated by an EPS handheld device are transmitted to the nerve fibers of the partially paralyzed muscles via self-adhesive electrodes on the skin.
Why does EPS muscle stimulation work?
The special exponential current impulses specifically address the muscles affected by the nerve damage. By activating the existing residual potential and triggering the resulting movement, the weakened/slackened muscles are trained and the regeneration of the nerve pathways is supported.
